Bone Marrow / Stem Cell Donor Drive

My Dad's friend at work has a son member that is sick with Leukemia. This hit my Dad especially hard because Puis's father is a good friend and the diagnosis came on my Mom's birthday. Why we were celebrating, our friend was getting the worst news a parent can hear. We really realize how blessed we are and also see that we have the power to help. Please let my dad know if you want to be a donor and he can bring you a donor kit. If you are unable to register to become a donor, please consider a financial donation or recruit your extended friends and family. Together we can help families affected by blood related cancers.

Late in the evening on Thursday March 19^th came the shocking diagnosis of Leukemia. As I heard about it on Friday morning, I traveled immediately to the hospital that is in Tübingen, Germany. Originally we planned something totally different for this Friday.  It was not the plan that we would be sitting in the hospital and facing the situation that one of us has blood cancer.

To beat the illness and receive complete healing, my brother needs a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, my blood does not match.  We are planning a Stem Cell Donor Characterization Event locally in Germany and our friends in the US are helping to coordinate the same type of event at their office located at 2917 Waterview Dr., Rochester Hills, MI.

Davian's First Fish

Today I went fishing with Dad at Stony Creek and I caught 3 (let me repeat myself) 3 fish! Did not have a video like my sister had, but at least some good pictures.

I also learned that I love to throw rocks in the lake, maybe more then the fishing. :-)
